Covid-19 a Epidemic spread In the whole world due to which all travel operations are temporarily suspended. All Airlines had cancelled their flights till 30 April 2020. Further decisions will be taken after 30 April 2020. During this pandemic situation the whole country is Lockdown and people cannot travel. Changes/modification to Flight Booking​​

All the flights are suspended by the Airlines  till 30 April 2020, Passengers are allowed to make changes to their flight reservation for future travel date without any airlines penalty . Only the fare difference will be Applicable if there is any. In some cases these policy can differ depending upon the airlines.

Cancellation/Refund of Flight Booking​

The cancellation of flight is done due to the pandemic situation passenger can cancel the flight tickets however the ticket amount will not be refunded. The Amount will be kept with the airlines as a credit shell and passengers can use the same amount for future travel. They can re book the flight for any future travel with same airlines they were booked on.


If the passenger is not ready to accept the credit shell and looking for refund only than the general cancellation policy will be Applicable and passenger can get a refund by paying the cancellation policy as per the existing fare rules of the ticket.

Latest Update on Airlines Changes and Cancellation Refund Policy

As per the latest update from DGCA new policies are introduced regarding the air ticket changes and cancellation policy. Yes, airlines has to refund  the full amount in case of cancellation or need to reschedule the flights for a new date however there are certain restrictions with it.


Passengers who had booked There flight tickets during the Lockdown period that is between 24 march 2020 till 3 may 2020 are eligible for a full refund for cancelled flight tickets. They can also make changes to There flight tickets free of charge however they have to pay the fare difference if their is any. Only the Airlines penalty will be waived off.
