The idea of getting a bank job is moving and knowing that job is in India’s Largest Public Sector Bank might thrill anyone inside out. Few reports and records suggest that the no. of aspirants have outgrown the no. of posts available in the banks. It indicates a clear idea of how these jobs are becoming relevant with passage of time. Though Banking is one of the emerging sectors in India, its existence has turned into a boon for lakhs of aspiring candidates who wish to grow in the Banking segment. Banks are known for their reputation and the trust they have gained for so many decades now. SBI and the related institutes conduct various exams at National level, and it is now need of an hour that the aspirants should have some information about these exams and how & when placements take place. Before sharing an alert on dates of these exams, it is better to have an understanding on the exams conducted by the SBI and the positions offered.

    • SBI PO Exam
      The State Bank of India (SBI) is the largest Public Sector bank with more than 25000 branches across the Nation. The Bank conducts its exam at National level, called as SBI PO Exam, that initiates with the filling and submission of SBI PO application form for registration process. The proposed date for the registration process is April’20 followed by Payment submission of Application in the month of April-May’20.
    • SBI PO Exam pattern follows 3-Phase strategy which begins with Preliminary Exam as Phase-I. Preliminary exam is an online test covering 3 subject fields – English, Maths and Reasoning. Phase-I is likely to be conducted and concluded in July’20 and further followed by the SBI PO Main Exam as Phase-II. Main Exam covers 4 subject fields – English, General Awareness, Reasoning & Computer and Data Interpretation. Phase-II is likely to be conducted and concluded in August’20.
    • The potential candidates are then filtered for the Phase-III, likely to be concluded in September’20, which includes group discussions to understand interpersonal skills in depth and personal interview to check intrapersonal skills. Result declaration is likely to be held in October’20 post which documents are verified of the shortlisted aspirants, as part of Phase-IV. SBI PO Exam Pattern explained.

    • SBI SO Exam
      SBI is the largest Public Sector bank with a dominant proportion of more than 60% by the Govt. The institution conducts its exam at National level, called as SBI SO Exam, that initiates with the filling and submission of SBI SO application form for registration process. The proposed date for the registration process is January’20 followed by payment submission of Application in January’20. SBI conducts its Main Exam for SO post in the month of February (likely to be same for 2020), post releasing admission cards. Tentative date for the result declaration is March’20. Candidates who are through the exam will be shortlisted for a personal interview to check intellectual skills and the selected candidates are expected to assist with the document verification as per dates provided by the Corporation.

  • SBI Clerk Exam
    The Bank offers a designation of a clerk and conducts an exam at National level, called as SBI Clerk Exam. The process shall begin with filling of application form for registration process in April’20. Once the forms are submitted, admit cards issuance and the preliminary test is to be conducted in May’20. Admit cards for the Main exam are likely to be issued in June’20 post clearing the preliminary test. Main exam is to be held in July’20 (tentatively) and results are likely to be favoured in the same month. Final list of the aspirants shall be published in September’20 post cracking the interview, which is likely to be held in August’20.
